NAWL National Conference
On Friday, September 16, 2016, I participated in the NAWL 2016 Meeting the Challenge Conference. In addition to working with the planning committees, I spoke with and coordinated the Women's Initiative Development Track: New Frontiers for Women's Initiatives. Our panel discussed the future of programs and activities that allow women to obtain the skills, visibility, and opportunities they need to advance within their organizations. The panelists will discuss new initiatives that harness technology to help women lawyers achieve their goals. The SMART (Solutions to Measure, Advance and Reward Talent) software platform will be discussed--a gender-neutral reporting and evaluation system that promotes the retention and advancement of women by aligning firm values and culture with compensation and promotion, as developed through the winning Women In Law Hackathon program.
